In an excellent article (though lacking the author's name) in The Flag Bulletin 169, the flag of the (successful) independentist movement of Eritrea is said to be approx. 5:7. However, I took from the web a JPG which was exactly 2:3. This images (above) is redrawn from that image.

The People's Liberation Front of Eritrea uses a green over light blue flag, divided with a large red triangle extending from the hoist (base) to the fly (vertex), and charged with a large yellow star rotated 90 degrees (3 o'clock position), a design that influenced the later adopted national flag.
